This coffee maker, with its professional-style conical burr grinder and carefully developed programming, provides precise control of all of the elements for great coffee: coffee quantity and grind, water quantity, and brew time. The coffee maker has a built-in burr grinder; conical burr grinders are recognized as the best method for grinding coffee, as they turn slowly to prevent heating and produce a consistent grind for optimal flavour extraction. The grinder's automatic functionality grinds the coffee beans to match the number of cups and strength chosen. The coffee maker allows you to select from 5 levels of grind and 3 coffee strength settings -- mild, medium, or strong. Simple-to-use programming provides control of the brewing process for 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 cups. An aroma function ensures the proper brewing of small coffee quantities (2 - 4 cups). The coffee maker has a high-quality 10 cup glass carafe, a pause-and-serve function with an anti-drip valve, and an illuminated orange LCD clock and display. An activated carbon water filter ensures clean taste.
